One of the most controversial inclusions on last year's Hottest MCs in the Game list was Gucci Mane La Flare. Many people argued about whether or not he even deserved to be mentioned, let alone grab the #6 spot. But in a year that included a slew of new mixtapes, some very impressive cameos, the release of The State vs. Radric Davis, and a six-month stint in jail, Mr. La Flare's earnest work paid off.
Gucci Mane wants to be higher on the MTV Top 10 MC's list. Last year Gucci reigned in at a strong #6, but this year he hopes to be higher.
